Water Ramp Facility

The perfect off season training facility with 1 large ramp and 1 small ramp as well as two in ground trampolines!

Facility Description

The Apex Freestyle Club’s water ramp was constructed in 2011 and was the first floating portable water ramp in the world. The unique ramp design was built on a 48 foot tri axel trailer making it totally portable, allowing the ramp to be moved to different locations utilizing landings on water, snow or air bags.

In 2014, in a move to find a more permanent site for the ramp, the Apex Freestyle Club made arrangements with Covert Farms near Oliver, BC. Covert Farms is a highly acclaimed 600 acre organic farm and vineyard. Within the confines of the farm lies a 16,900 square foot irrigation reservoir, the perfect venue for the AFC Water Ramp Training Facility. The new location is only 10 minutes from Oliver and 25 minutes from Penticton in the heart of the southern Okanagan’s wine country. Covert Farms offers a unique farm experience with markets, wine tasting and special events galore throughout the spring, summer and fall.

This makes the new Freestyle Apex Water Ramp Training Facility the perfect off-season training centre for the entire family. The sunny southern Okanagan Valley boasts over 2,100 hours of sunshine and only 15 inches of rain annually allowing the Freestyle Apex Water Ramp Training Facility to be open from May through October.
